When we share our stories, we connect, and when we connect we shine more light into the world.
Originally from Michigan, Erin began performing and writing at a young age. She attended Interlochen Arts Academy as a Theater major, has a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Michigan, and holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts with a concentration in Performance Creation from Goddard College. She specializes in memoir plays, documentary theater, adaptations, and telling stories by and for theater students of all ages.
Before moving to Vermont after a beautiful summer stint with the Bread and Puppet Theater, Erin was a teaching artist in the New York City Public Schools bringing dance and drama to 100s of elementary school students while also performing throughout NYC with theater and dance groups. In addition to Bread and Puppet, Erin has performed in Vermont with The Blue Barn Players, The St. Johnsbury Players, Lost Nation Theater, and Open Door Theater.
A dedicated arts educator for the past 26 years, Erin is the director of Stage 32 and a member of the Performing Arts and English Faculty at U-32 Middle and High School. With Lost Nation Theater Erin has adapted and directed several plays for their education program and recently began teaching Acting Classes for adults as well.
Erin lives right outside of Vermont’s beautiful capital city of Montpelier with my husband, 2 feisty children, 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 leopard gecko, too many house plants, & too many gardens.
